Everyone is responsible for keeping our children and young people safe. All children and young people have the right to an education, to be heard, and to be kept safe from harm. We are committed to keeping the students in our school safe from harm.
At Bagdad Primary School our Safeguarding Policies, and Procedures aim to support our students, staff and community to ensure all our young people are safe.
The key supporting documents that parents and carers need to be aware of include:
At our Bagdad Primary School:
- Staff will be fully aware of and enact the expectations outlined in the Bagdad Primary School – Safeguarding Risk Management Plan.
- Complete Mandatory Reporting Training 2024 and Child Sexual Abuse Awareness Training each year.
- Fully participate and attend all professional learning relating to safeguarding including Mandatory Reporting Information, Safeguarding Risk Management Planning and other relevant PL throughout the year.
- Use all Safeguarding guides and supporting documents provided by DECYP.
