School Association
Our School Association works together for the benefit of our school. This includes parents, school staff and the community collaborating to achieve shared outcomes for learners attending our school, and for the benefit of the school community.
Our School Association works together to achieve the following at Bagdad Primary School:
- Participating in the development of school policies and procedures
- School Uniform Shop
- School Canteen
- Breakfast Club
- Fundraising Events such as the Colour Run, Stalls, Raffles etc.
- Community events including Winter Festival and Christmas Carols.
- Making financial contributions through fundraising efforts.
We are always after parents and friends to help out at our school. You do not need to be an elected member of the School Association to come along to meetings and find out what is happening in our school or to offer a helping hand.
Meetings occur on the third Monday of each month at 6:00pm at the school. Please see our newsletter for the dates.
As a member of the School Association, you will need your Working with Vulnerable People Check and Safeguarding Training Certificate. Information on both of these can be found in the Volunteering page.
