Volunteering or Working at Bagdad Primary School
At Bagdad Primary School we are always appreciative for parents, carers and external providers coming into the school and supporting our kids.
All people who are interested in volunteering or working (external providers and trades etc) at a school in Tasmania must have the following:
- Working with Vulnerable People Check
- Safeguarding Training Certificate

Safeguarding Training Certificate
- The training is compulsory and is designed to help us all understand how to better safeguard kids in Tasmania.
- You will learn what to do if you believe a child or young person is being harmed and make sure you are doing all you can to prevent this from happening. You will also learn what your reporting requirements are.
- Visit the Safeguarding Training to complete the short course.
- For more information about Safeguarding in Tasmania visit Safeguarding Children and Young People site.
- Make sure you download and save your certificate to verify you have completed your training. This can be emailed to our school office, or a paper copy can be presented.
